The Japan Association of Radiological Technologist (JART) issued guideline for medical exposure (targeted depreciation value) in 2000, 2006 to aim the safe and secured radiological treatment. | Medical Exposure Record Note |
Starting in 2005 summer, JART executed the trial use of Medical Exposure Record Note. Whenever a patient receives radiological examination, the hospital put the record on the note to keep accurate examination records. Thus the note enables to treat the patient properly even when he/she feels uneasiness.

| Authorization of Medical Exposure Depreciation Hospital |
From 2005 summer, JART inaugurated aggressively to depreciate radiation dose in radiological examinations. Through paper survey as well as on the spot survey, JART evaluates the institute whether justification of each examination as well as optimization are seriously considered at whole hospital and the result of such consideration is strictly reflected in diagnosis and treatment then authorizes facilities with high standard as Medical Exposure Depreciation Institute. With this authorization, patient will feel safe to receive radiological examination and motivate internal personnel to become more sensible to the safeness and credibility of radiological examination at hospital.  |
